For over thirty years, Slip Industries has been providing top-of-the-line tools needed for asphalt, concrete, and masonry. We understand that artisans in their respective fields need the very best tools. Whether it be searching for and sourcing tools or making them by hand, we have strived to build our business with integrity, knowledge, and experience. We listen to the feedback of all our customers and know that as their needs grow, so do ours!
We work diligently to add great products to our inventory and want to introduce two new items today. They are both products to use on power trowels and we are excited to add them to our already outstanding line of products.
The first product we want to showcase today is the OmniPoly Power Trowel Blade.
For many years, power trowel blades were made of either high-carbon stainless steel or plastic. While they got the job done in most cases, they also had some areas where they were lacking. High carbon steel blades oftentimes would leave dark burnish marks that could tarnish the aesthetic of concrete, ruining the hard work put into it.
Plastic blades created an even finish, giving concrete more uniformity than their predecessors. Plastic blades also had some elements to them that would rust. They also have a hole where particles from concrete work would gather and could cause scratching. OmniPoly Power Trowel Blades seek to be the next great product in concrete finishing. The blades are made of a special material that is wear-resistant and will outperform blades made from metal or conventional plastic. Also, since there is no steel on the product, you never have to worry about corrosion, rotting, or rust.
The specialized material that makes up the OmniPoly Power Trowel Blades are specifically made to last much longer than other blades and this can help save time and money. Experienced concrete workers know that time is of the essence. Depending on the job, its location, and the weather conditions, concrete finishing can be a challenge when it comes to time management. When blades wear out, they need to be replaced. This could mean that a machine could be down a significant amount of time. OmniPoly Power Trowel Blades do not need to be changed nearly as often, which means you can also save on money. These blades will fit the most common equipment including those made by Allen, Bartell, MBW, Wacker, and Whiteman.
The other product we want to introduce is a 14” Wire Brush Rotary attachment. Another tool that can be used on a power trowel, this 14” Wire Brush Rotary attachment can make quick work of any job it is tasked to do. Wire rotary brushes are often used to remove foreign substances from concrete. Things like dirt, grease, oil, and grime that have built up on concrete surfaces are easily removed. This wire rotary brush can be used to strip, scour, scrape and scrub concrete, which will eliminate the need for stringent and toxic cleaning solvents. A must-have for any crew that is working concrete, the 14” Wire Brush Rotary attachment will be one more tool that sets you apart from the competition.
Slip Industries is proud to introduce these two new products and hope to continue to bring more high-quality products into our inventory in the future.
